My Story
As a native Floridian, I was frustrated trying to maintain my own home's landscape in North Texas. In 2003, I became a certified Texas Master Gardener and it was life changing. Friends began to ask for help with their landscapes, and in 2013 I launched Plant Wise Landscaping. I​ enjoy working with clients to create beautiful landscapes they can be proud of and enjoy with family and friends.​​

Meet Client Needs
Client satisfaction is a reflection of how well we listen to preferences for the look and feel of a garden. Outcomes are great when conversations are continual, pricing is fair, and realistic expectations are established. Plant Wise's number one goal is client satisfaction.
Water Wise Designs
Water is a precious commodity. It also is expensive. By creating gardens with water wise plantings, beauty is not sacrificed, and many dollars and gallons of water are saved. Water wise plantings are not necessarily cacti based. There are hundreds of plants that can thrive beautifully with less water.
Low Maintenance
Low maintenance gardens are designed to provide interest in spring, summer, winter, and fall. Plants are specified for areas in which they will fit at full growth. Constant trimming will never be necessary with a landscape design by Plant Wise. Typically, maintenance is scheduled monthly or quarterly to care for all plantings once the landscape has filled in fully.
